He said: 5 tongues You simply must go to this place, especially if you like crepes. I wish we had more places like this in the United States. It's kind of a place you can go there for a meeting or a date. I started with the lunch crepe (ham, american cheese, sausage, mozzarella). Cheese was all melted just right. I had the dessert crepe (mixed berries with vanilla ice cream). You can watch them as they make it.
The service is great! I will be definitely going back next time I'm in Manila.
She said: 4 tongues I've been dying to bring my husband to this restaurant, which is one of my favorite spots when I used to live in Manila. 95% of the menu is composed of crepes, and boy did I indulge. On our 2-week vacation we must've gone to this place at least 4 times. I had different crepes everytime, but two of the most notable ones are the Galette Don Quixote (with chorizo, onion, tomato, cream, and mozzarella) and La Pinay (a dessert crepe with mango, vanilla ice-cream, and chocolate sauce). The galette don quixote was perfect for lunch - filling and tasty, with the chorizo adding a nice kick to the crepe. I didn't think I could eat the La Pinay because I was so full, but I couldn't pass up on the mango and ice-cream combination. If you've ever been to Manila and had the mangoes, you'll understand why. They're the sweetest and juiciest I've ever tasted, and I can't find anything quite like it here in the US. Close, but not quite.
So if you ever find yourselves in Manila, stop by Cafe Breton. They're all over the capital (and I'm sure there's one in every mall!). Service is great, and food is even better!
