The drive up to Frank's Waterside is spectacular - overlooking the west side of the New York skyline. Free valet parking makes it easy - you just pull up to the door.
Upon entering, you are greeted and seated at once. The wait staff immediately takes your orders for drinks.
Very pleasant atmosphere, with live jazz guitar music playing. Sitting at a table by the window, you have to take a couple of minutes just to take in the beautiful view of New York City harbor. Outside seating is available as well.
The buffet is really appetizing: salmon, filet mignon, chicken marsala, baked ziti, salads, plus large cocktail shrimp with a tangy tomato sauce. If you're looking for breakfast, they have an omelet station, bacon, sausage, French toast, pancakes, home fries, breads, and fresh fruits. They even have dessert!

Gorgeous view! We sat by the window and had a great view of the Manhattan skyline, at Jersey prices. We went for the Sunday jazz brunch. They had one guy playing popular jazz tunes like Every Breath You Take and Wonderful Tonight - not intrusive at all. The buffet was substantial - there were the usual omelletes, bagels, and pastries, plus they had baked ziti, salmon, and filet mignon.
There's an outside seating area as well which is great, especially if there's a gentle breeze going.
The restrooms were very clean and there was valet parking - no need to worry about trying to look for a spot!
I gave it 3 tongues for now because we just had brunch and didn't get to try the actual lunch or dinner which, from personal experience, could be very different. Next time we'll try their dinner menu and will let you know if that merits more tongues!
